Who is the quester?

What is the quester experience like?

Just imagine...

if Crocodile Hunter met up with the guys from the Bible Project, in Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and they began brainstorming ideas for a new kid’s show!

Meet the Quester Community Board

Rousseaux Brasseur

Meet Rousseaux, the Quester himself. Not everyone is gifted with ability to feel at home at all times in overalls and Converse, with a love for memorizing Scripture, and connecting with kids where they are. Rousseaux is also a husband, children’s and family pastor, a Psalmster, and a born adventurer.

Published Works: The Pilgrim’s Progress: A Poetic Retelling of John Bunyan’s Classic Tale and The Good News of Christmas: Celebrating the Glory of Christ’s Birth Story (Harvest Kids Publishing)

Matt Campbell

Matt has been obsessed with film making since he saw “The Fellowship of the Ring” in middle school. He spent his high school years making short films with his friends, one of whom was none other than the Quester himself, Rousseaux. After graduating from George Fox University’s film program, Matt honed his film skills working in-house at several marketing agencies. When he took the position of production manager at The Story, he was reconnected with Rousseaux and began bringing to life The Quester in a feature film and VBS series. Just as Jesus shared stories in parables, Matt believes in the power of sharing stories through film to impact people and share the Gospel.

Michelle is honored to be part of the Quester Community, where children will learn the greatest stories ever told.

Lisa Boylan

Lisa has lived in the Rogue Valley for 28 years, raising her children with her husband of 34 years. She honed her administrative support skills while working for Medford School District for 23 years, most recently providing technical support to the district’s almost 20,000 staff, students, and parents for the last 10 years. Lisa serves as The Quester Community Board secretary. She desires to share Jesus with those who do not know Him yet and those who do, but need someone to stand beside them in their walk with Him.

Jessie Witt Pannell

Jessie Witt Pannell was born into the prairie beauty and sparseness of Eastern Colorado which gifted her with equal parts cynicism and hope. After collecting her education, distaste for pretention, and plucky collection of in-laws in the South, she and her husband moved to lovely Southern Oregon where they make their home with their three children. When she’s not writing, she’s reading her worn out copies of Georgette Heyer and fantasizing about the next time she’ll be able to sit on a Welsh rock wall.

The Quester Community was born out of the realization that so much of the content available for kids is empty and meaningless, without a connection to a real person or truth. We create free, quality content which emphasizes a love for creation, a love for humanity, and a love of God’s Word.
